Normally I just lightly hairspray the ends. I don't straighten my hair much cause its pretty straight on its own but this works for me.

I use a milk smoothing spray from biolage and I spray it on each section when I'm going to straighten my hair. It makes my hair smooth and not frizzy.

But does it make it stay perfectly straight?

Are you using a good quality hair straightener? Are you straightening your hair when it is completely dry?

I have this problem. For me it's just because my hair is only about shoulder length. It makes it bend from where it's constantly sitting on my shoulders. When my hair was longer I never had this problem at all.

What I usually do is wash and condition my hair then I detangel my hair while wet (which I don't recommend you do often because it gives you split ends) then I use a round brush and blow dry the hair spinning the brush with my hair, then I flat iron...remember to use a heat protector and a powerful blow dryer.
