Please help with jeans!!

Hey I'm looking for new jeans for school and I always have a hard time finding ones that fit right because I have super long legs and a short torso. And they are ALWAYS to big on my hips. Do any of you have the same problem? Where do you get jeans? I don't want to have to get them tailored.
