Do they hurt? And could I pull one off? Marilyn Monroe is such an inspiration to me and I live the look of them.

You can so pull it off ^.^ it just depends on your pain tolerance , if it's high or low

I think it might be. I think it might be better for you to do the look with crystals and eyelash glue, that way you can have it when you want it and not get turned down for a job.

It depends on your pain tolerance, I got my belly pierced and I didn't feel anything but my friend was crying. I do think it'll look good on you though. As for becoming a teacher, it may be frowned upon. It sucks that they will judge you based on tattoos and piercings even if you're an excellent person/employee. It's considered "unprofessional"

However, when do you plan on becoming a teacher? If its a few years into the future, it will heal and you can just take it out and put it back in. I've had teachers with tattoos but I never had one with piercings, so I don't really know. I've always followed the rule that your neck, face, and hands are the 3 places you don't modify because it will most likely prevent you from getting a job.

I am in love with mine still I've had it for 2 years and its not going anywhere for a while haha. I love how often people who look old fashioned compliment me on it. I think it's edgy but also "mainstream feminine" as well and you can do the tiniest little studs for classy looks and bolder larger stones/balls for edgier looks. I think I like shopping for Monroe jewelry more than any other kind x) if you get it don't sweat the pain it hurts yes but it's very doable. Also for awesome jewelry you should check out piercedfish.com the prices and giveaways are perfect I've already won so many labrets haha (+always free shipping woo)
