Wow! Both look great on you! I'm a curly gal and what's been working me is moisture enriched products (hair butters and oils). I left the sulfate loaded drugstore shampoos alone and rely heavily on conditioning washes (As I Am Coconut Cowash) and only using a sulfate free clarifying shampoo twice a month. When its comes to adding moisture to my hair I don't wash everyday. I do a wash n go using As I Am Leave in conditioner followed by Camille Rose Naturals Hair Butter (or sometimes the whipped aloe gel) and then seal it with coconut oil. And I don't use any heat at all to dry my hair...I don't have patience to even deal with my diffuser on cool.lol. My husband has been oiling my scalp once a month with a castor oil and aloe mix to further assist with growth. Right now you're at that in between stage with your hair and while its so tempted to cut...don't. Just let your hair do its thing...especially if trying to obtain length. And if you have any kind of chemical straightner in it it will need to grow out. Patience is vital.

Using Devacurl products have changed my hairs life! Pricey but so worth it. I like their No Poo Shampoo and the One Condition Conditioner

Thank you ladies!! I am so ready just to let it grow. as a teen I used so many damaging chemicals that I just ended chopping it off and I love the short but I am ready for my big head of curls!
