I know this sounds disgusting, but Mayo actually helped my hair. It does leave a funny after smell but just get a good smelling shampoo like Aussie or Jocio and your set. I also like to use Aussies's three minute miracle conditioner.

Get it at sallys its a treatment its also a shampoo/conditoner:3 kindah like wen but wayy better:) it has avacado oils in it super good for the hair:) my hair was fried too before and I used tht 3 times and my fried hair was half way gone.

Agree on all things "It's a 10" and organic, cold pressed extra virgin coconut oil (unheated) on the ends...avoiding the scalp...slept in overnight with a cap.
