It works a lot. I use red hot, and the top of my hair was like really bright out in the sun but under natural lighting it really is red. I'd recommend using a protein filler, I didn't and I feel like my hair faded way faster despite all the things I did to prevent it from doing so. Whenever you dye your hair it's damaging, just be sure to thoroughly deep condition your hair or give it a treatment after you're done (:

I've just gone red, personally I'm going back brown no matter what it just fades :/ I didn't use this one, it might be better then the one I used but it did come out nice colour especially at roots :)

Heidi-loren B. oh yea that what I heard that your hair turns more red then the bottoms of your hair..
I'm going to start from the button to my roots and especially cuz I'm blonde it will hit my roots harder lol

Works great! I had dark brown hair and used the magenta hi color with a 30 developer...my hair is gorgeous!!

Use a protein filler from Sally's #10 red red.
