Because they work deep within your skin. They maintain the ph balance of the skin. :)

Really Mookey? wow havent heard of that before. won't it dry out the skin too much? Thats an interesting sugestion. Imma go look it up and give it a try. :)

I like toners, it takes off left off "grime" (lol) after cleansing. Makes my face feel fresher ,cleaner, glowier, and smoother.

Toners work well but are drying. If you take off your makeup and use a cotton pad and some toner, it takes off the makeup that the makeup remover didn't get. If your skin gets dry, follow up with a moisturizer.
