It depends if you're wearing boots there no harm in wearing socks if you can't see them but it the heels are open I wouldn't or it looks a bit strange xx

Dsw has thick small heels but for more calm occasions. If you're trying to go with a sexy party scene, stores like Bakers and Aldo have shoes that fit wide with but it's tricky and you have to try them on. I'm the same shoe size and heavy set. You can also do a skinnier heel but stay away from cheap shoes because they lean.
