I have naturally curly/wavy hair and whenever I straighten it and go outside when it's slightly humid it goes back to its natural look really quickly. So I was jut wondering if there's anyway to help keep it straight when I straighten it.

I used to have a problem like this it was a mess >.<I would suggest combing your hair really good then putting a little anti frizz cream in your hair followed by a heat protectant I suggest nexus promend it's also a styling spray then straitened your hair normally make sure to keep combing your hair then finish it with a hairspray of your choice:) also what shampoo and conditioner are you using? That makes a big diffrence.

This is so me to! Usually instead of putting hairspray on my head directly, if you use hairspray, I spray my brush and then brush a section of my hair, then keep doing sections till I have brushed all my hair.

Hey Jennalynn! I like your name ;) I have struggled with this problem myself in the past. Everything Christian recommended are all great! Definitely recommend marc Anthony's style straight cream and frizz ease products :) also one thing that has helped me the MOST is to make sure that when you blow dry and/or flat iron your hair be sure that it is 100% dry. Thus the cuticle lays flat and is less likely to be affected by humidity and such. Another thing, try round brushing your hair as straight as possible and then going in with a flat iron to completely seal the cuticle. Yes, lots of heat you'll be using but it sure does the job. Just be sure to use a heat protectant. To speed Up styling time and prevent unnecessary damage, wait until your hair air drys to about 70 percent and then begin with the blow dryers and flat irons. Hope I helped Chica :)
