I started doing this about a week ago, and I've done a couple different things. I've slept with honey in my hair, I've slept with a mixture of honey, olive oil and cinnamon in my hair, and I've put a mixture or lemon juice, honey, and cinnamon on my hair and let it sit throughout the day (I went to the beach so it was especially effective)

If you are going to use lemon, make sure you put more moisturizing things in it too. You can find some vids and recipes online :)
