Maybe a leave in conditioner? Or try different braid styles. :)

Detangler and smoothing cream. Brush it a lot. I think light brown or dirty blonde would look great on you. :)

Layers really help to take the weight off and keep it from getting tangled so much :)

Try getting a deep conditioning treatment at a salon :) and they can recommend products to help with that too.

I have this problem too my hair is really thick and long and when I wear it down its usually straight and I just constantly run my fingers thru it. I also keep a lil brush in my purse for when I'm not home. or if its curled just gently run your fingers thru it. lol its the price we pay for having long hair.

My hair used to do the same thing! This is kinda weird, but dog leave in conditioner or fur softener really helps

Leave in conditioner, if the ends are dead get them trimmed. Also, I don't have long hair but when I wear my extensions in they tangle pretty easy and I've found using my It's a 10 Miracle shine spray on them and brushing it through keeps them smooth and in place and almost completely tangle free. I've had them for some time so they just tangle like crazy and that really helped a lot.
