I recently purchased a vanity organizer to store my makeup, but it's only about 3 in high. How should I store my brushes instead of in this?

By a big circular bowl (like a fish bowl) and fill it with glass stones and they will stick out of it. It's cute and I'm Sure you can look it up if you don't know what I mean.

I saw my sister store her brushes in a jar filled with those clear stones. The stones were tinted this very pretty periwinkle color.
