DON't GET A TOTE. my freshman year I had a tote bag. Worst Idea ever. I weighed it at the end of the year and it was 28 pounds. That all was just for finals. So this year I'm going to a backpack.

I've always hated the look of backpacks but I bought a dakine and I love it. I've had it for two years and its still in perfect condition despite me using it almost everyday!

Jansports are the best they come in lots of pretty color and you could also spice it up yourself.. I had a basic black one for 4 years now and its still in perfect condition.. they have a lot of different sizes too.
