So I'm using a bb cream because I'm being kind to my face lol
but no matter what I do I end up shiny after a few hours. my bf keeps saying your so shiny! but its not greasy. do I just need to topup with powder all day?

Try using a oil control moisturizer prior to application after bb cream is applied slightly blot with a two ply tissue to help absorb excess oil/moisture yet leaving pigment and set with a powder...hope that helps :)

I usually would just add powder tithe shiny bits.

Applying more powder to your face throughout the day can cause breakouts, all that's going to do is push the bacteria, sweat and dead skin cells deeper in your pores. you can buy excess oil removing tissues from the drugstore by just pressing them against the oily areas. or if you have any of the wax tissue paper you use for gifts layin around, that works just as well (:

Use blotting papers. These soak up the oils on your face and some usually have a light layer of powder on them.
