Well... The type of hair spray I use is , max hold by suave!! But before you do that you can try to just put your hands on your hair and just rub up.

Try to scrunch your hair after you curl it... Like grab the middle of it and just kind of make a fist!! If that helps you... But If not then I'm sorry.

When your done curling your hair flip it upside down and hair spray it gives you lots of volume :)

You curl curling wand by conair and batiste dry shampoo is what I use and it works! Other ways to add volume is to let your hair air dry. I find each time I blow dry my hair it looks super flat. Also try brushing your hair up.
