Ugh...so I have a short hair style and I dye my hair a black/purple. In order to keep the style going I have to wash it almost everyday just to look clean and full of volume, but that makes by dye come out faster! Would dry shampoo fix this issue? What is a good brand?

Put your dye in the shampoo and conditioner just alittle bit though it helps trust (:

A dry shampoo would help keeping you from having to wash your hair every day. I've tried Dove but I'm not a fan of it. I'd go with Treseme if I were you :)

Dry shampoo will help you! I haven't tried any other brands, except for Tresemme's. (I don't care much for it.)
And wash your hair with a non-sulfate shampoo, also! :)

I used to have black and purple and to keep it vibrant I used ion dry shampoo which works amazing and I've tried many other brands! and I also used roux refresh mask in burgandy! both are available at sallys!

It would get me by for a few more days without washing!

Like Megan said I too use the ion dry shampoo and OMG it smells so good and leaves my hair so fresh and clean. I have light blonde hair so I can't say if it would leave a white residue in darker hair but it doesn't leave any type in mine. Also you can go to ulta and check out batiste dry shampoos they come in shades/colors to freshen up your color which I like. Also the so gorgeous dry shampoo is great for volume too. I wouldn't recommend treseme it didn't work too good for me and made my clean hair actually look greasy if I used it just for volume. Xo.
