I have dry skin, but it still looks shiny sometimes even though my skin doesn't produce much oil. The shine is mostly on my nose, one of the driest spots on my face. I've looked up shine control products online, but it seems like most of them are for oil control and that's not what I need, my skin is not oily to begin with. Are there any good mattifying/shine control products (other than foundation or BB cream, I do not like either one) that are *not* for oily skin?

If your just concerned about your nose use a porefiller like benefit porefessional it's not as drying as some primers for oily skin are

I definitely recommend the MAC Sculpting Foundation I had the same exact problem. I tried all the drug store foundations but they made my face look so dry, so I went to MAC and asked an empoyee and she recommended it to me and I LOVE IT! Its in a small tube, but a little amount gos a long way!

@Desiree: Thanks! I'll have to give those a try!
@Merci: I already have really tiny pores on my nose, would a pore filler do anything to help with non-oily shine?

@Kensie: Is that a liquid or powder foundation? I mentioned in my original post that I don't like foundation but if it's just a powder I might consider it.

It controls shine but it's not drying. Or Dab alittle bit of milk of magnesia on your nose sounds weird I know but it works wonders

Could be your foundation. I would use a setting powder for the shine control.
