I just went into Sephora asking about this!
I haven't ventured much into lip colors, so I was in definite need of some help!! She suggested (and I bought) Lorac's liquid lipstick in the color "Muse"
It's a nice pinky, mauve that doesn't totally overpower my pale face! Some other suggestions she had were
- Smashbox's Be Legendary Lipstick in Mandarin (a pretty coral)
- Nars lipstick in Catfight (another mauve color, less pink, more nude)
- Obsessive Compulsive's Lip Tar in Annika (a super pretty, pale peach)

I think a lot of girl's can pull off a very wide range of colors (certainly more than we think), it's just finding the confidence to do so that's hard!!
