I want to buy a Mac powder to put over my foundation. Do they have a normal powder ,I was on the website and they have several powders but not really a basic powder.which one would you prefer?and is there one that has decent coverage.

I've always used MAC Mineralize Skinfinish to set my foundation. It's light-to-medium coverage. I use it with a kabuki and dust it over my liquid foundation to set my foundation while giving it a softer look. Just make sure you pick a shade that matches your skin if you're using it to set foundation!

I agree with brittany!Mac miniralize is great to put over foundation...but if you use it on its own..the coverage is very light..so it depends how your going to use it..I bought it but I didn't like it on its own so I returned it and got the studio fix..this one has more coverage...but if you are always going to use your foundation I do recommend..

They have the loose set powder which set your foundation in place however it is a lighter coverage. Theyre set powders such as their studiofix give a stronger cover yet still set your foundation so it depends how much coverage you want! I use the studiofix powder and its so good! It gives such a nice finish and coverage! But I wasn't sure of my colour so I went into mac told them my foundation colour and they matched it perfectly! Hope this helps! xxx

I love the studio finish!! I think you should go in and try a few out, not everyone has the same skin so you mine benefit from a different type.

I personally don't like the Mineralize Skin Finish Natural powders that much because I don't think they are nearly as soft and silky as the other powders that MAC makes.
