So I go to a salon today and spend $115 on a cut, style and semi permanent color. Well I have naturally straight hair so I asked the girl to curl it for me. After a full hour of curling I had awesome curls. Not even 30 minutes later my hair fell flat. She used 6 different products and used hair spray before, during and after. Any clues as to get curls or even waves??

Use rollers overnight. I use the really thin flexi rod things coz my hairs quite short, when I take them out they are really really tight so I have to run my fingers through them loads, spray them with water and then leave them to drop for about an hour before I leave the house, they go like really curly and wavy, quite messy but in a good way =]

Your hair looks awesome girl. If you wanted to take a different route you can always get hair extensions like I did.. that way styling is so much easier and it's totally worth it.

I kind of think you have to embrace what you have. It's so frustrating when you're constantly fighting nature. It's best to find a style that is easiest for your hair texture. Maybe that's just me.
