I'm a hideously savage barbarian and still use my fingers for my foundation :) I have over 60 brushes for eyes and contouring but still hand apply my foundation. Just for a different take :)

Well since the beauty blenders are not copyrighted, anyone ca make them. They are going to be almost all the same, high or low price. So I suggest getting the cheaper ones first, then work your way up to high price ones.

Omg YES!! the original only tho, dupes aren't worth it, and get the cleaner that comes with it, well worth it for washing brushes too review+ demo : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wdofu_EdGLY

I don't see all this hype over a sponge...

Emma T. We're both hideously savage barbarians then! Haha. I just find it so much easier to use my fingers and I feel like it makes my foundation more even than any brush can.

@ Heather, haha glad you agree. And yes I think that using your fingers does the best job.

Haha I like using my fingers too, it's easy to get right into the skin. Maybe I'll look into starting with damp sponges and see if I like the look, then go to the beautyblender.

Which do you ladies think is better for tinted moisturizer, the beauty blender or a stippling brush? I've been thinking about getting a beauty blender too, but it's a lot for a sponge.

Dude, there's a fantastic dupe on eBay from Asia for like a dollar. It's dense so it doesn't soak up any product and when used damp it leaves a beautiful finish. To clean I just rinse then spray some brush cleaner on it, squish a few times then rinse until the water runs clear.
The American dupes are crap though ;)
