I've been using my sigma brush for foundation for a long time, I'm thinking of trying the Beautyblender? What are the pros/cons and is it worth the money?

Yes!! Do not I repeat do not get a dupe, its a waste, no matter how many people tell its the same its not, the original.is the way to go, my makeup looks great and even my mom has pointed out that my makeup looks way more natural,

Soaks up a lot of foundation thats not needed. Difficult to clean and can tear easily if rough handled. But other than those few things its great!

I use a dupe and I prefer it over the original.

Actually I use less foundation with the.beauty blender, way less, also dupes feel like cheap memory foam or a towel. The.original feels like air.

And ita easy to clean and will only tear if you deal with it to roughly.

Ifeel like its not worth it for the money. Using a brush with the right technique should do just fine.

Brushes.do work well, but.they don't compare, my mom who doesn't even know what a cakey face really is told me my makeup looked so much better and natural every time I use it, also if you wait.you can get a good deal, I got a.2 pack for $20

YES! But... Keep in mind... *water* based foundations and products will be absorbed by the beauty blender cause its a sponge.. *doh* and oil based products and foundations will blend beautifully with it. If you love your brushes then use it first and blend out with the beauty blender. I do agree with Ashley D., don't get a dupe unless you wanna have to buy like 10 cause the dupes tear and rip way faster then the original. The technique of using both your sigma brush and the beauty blender will create almost like an airbrushed look, just remember less product is more with blending :)

Ooo and cleaning a beauty blender, don't waste your money on the cleaner. Some baby soap since its gentle and some TLC using the soak and squeeze process cleans it great :*

Hmm I just coulnldnt spend that much money on a sponge that probably costs pennies to produce I would rather buy other stuff. Load or people really like them though and they do give a nice finish.

I personaly wouldnt spend that much money on a sponge that is produced for very little but lots of people like them and they do give a nice finish.

Sponges soak up a lot of product and can become a breeding ground for nasty bacteria! They sell dupes at Target and CVS that work just as well, but personally I wouldn't rely on just sponges!

Yes. You don't need a lot of quality product and it's moistened before use so absorbtion is a non-issue for me. If you are leaning toward a great foundation brush, I love my Urban Decay Good Karma which leaves a soft, airbrushed look much like the blender.

Hi all so I too am interested in purchasing beauty blender I have a question about I thought that should just post it here instead of starting a new post...what is average life for one beauty blender?

I've had mine for months. Got a dual pack that came with great cleanser. Sanitation is essential.

I've never used it. I think it's a ridiculous price for a little sponge, especially since my foundation is already even and natural looking.

I have both a brush and sponge and the sponge gives me a very light finish with my revlon colorstay foundation which is pretty heavy. I like it but I don't think one should have to buy an expensive one. I bought mine from target and its was like $3. I would replace it every few months for how cheap it is. I still love my brush for full coverage. Personal preference!
