I agree with you Jacqueline he just had this wonderful view of what true beauty is and acceptance of everyone. Yeah I have been misspelling his name too. This autocorrect is starting to become the bane of my existence. There will probably be mistakes in this comment as well...lol.

I haven't been able to get any of his products yet. I've wanted them since I discovered him in 2001 and started learning about makeup. Thanks for letting me know. Maybe I can save up and get some. I'm trying to think of Watts of getting my name out there for jobs. I guess I should start with a business card. I was thinking of offering to assist a local MUA so I can learn. I didn't know if I would be received well out a competition. No harm in trying I guess.

I love Kevin Aucoin. He didnt know it but he was my gay boyfriend. He was so cute and sweet whenever interviewed. I was so sad to hear of his passing. It's still hard to believe someone so young and talented died so early.

I have both his books and every time I go through them its like reading a textbook and an inspirational/selfhelp book! He was a artist, true genius, but humble.

I can not overstate my worship of the man. When I was a young girl my mom used to work in a library and I used to go with her to work during the summer and spend all day reading. Some of my fondest childhood memories were spent sitting among the stacks reading Kevyn's books. People constantly ask me how I learned everything I learned and if I watch youtube all day long and I always tell them of the days before youtube when you had to crack open a book!! Love the man, love the work and love inner beauty he had which he shared with the world through those books.
