He shouldn't be saying anything when he looks like Gary Busey if he got viciously attacked by bees.

He said it in a mean way, but it's his business and clearly it's doing we'll since I see an A&F in every mall. He has a targeted audience. Young and thin. Yes, he said it mean but it's how he feels about his brand. I don't go into Lane Bryant and get mad that they don't carry my size. There's a targeted audience and unfortunately not everyone can fit into his clothes. He's not promoting eating disorders or an unhealthy lifestyle. He's saying that he refuses to make his sizes bigger because that's not his targeted audience. I don't agree with how he said it but like I said before, it's his business and it's his image he wants to portray.

All the people who shopped there in high school were thought to have absolutely NO FASHION SENSE, so it could be worse... it could be a brand that fashionable girls actually wanted to wear, not complete junk! I was very thin in high school and I would NEVER be caught dead in any of those clothes, now I'm a lot larger and I STILL would not be caught dead in those clothes. This is no loss in my opinion, especially if you want to portray yourself as a modern and fashionable woman. Their clothes are dated and boring, plus that guy looks like The Elephant Man-so attractive!
I did know either the head buyer or designer for Abercrombie because I use to teach her daughter in a fashion design class and they were both so lovely, so this is a shame!

This reminds me of Tommy Hilfiger ,when he said his clothing are not for minorities.Noone is perfect, thats why we are all born so differently.
This is a disgrace,I use to love their clothing..

I never got why people wanted to pay $40 or more on a thin t shirt that literally just advertises where you got the shirt. They are paying to be walking advertisements. This guy is such a tool.

Also a lot of people in here are defending him by saying there are plus size shops that don't sell to thinner women. The reason for that is because for plus size women it is incredibly difficult to find FASHIONABLE clothes in your size. Many stores that sell plus sizes tend to skimp out on the selection and provide really unattractive choices. No one else can sell the Abercrombie logo but them so providing plus sizes was probably a request of bigger women. You don't go into torrid and complain that clothes for thinner women aren't that cute, or how small the selection is for being a size 2.

I agree with mairead and hayley. Also the reason I will not be wearing the thier hoody (which was a gift) is because I don't want to be seen to be supporting a company with such dubious values.

Yeah I agree with alyssa that is a bit much. Like my hoody is just a grey hoody with a small logo not the most amazing thing but its not offensive. I wouldnt have bought it myself as I don't buy anything branded I love charity shops lol like I am not offended but some people would be by what you said.

He also said he didn't want people donating and giving away their A&F clothes because if less wealthy people and homeless people were to wear them, it would send the wrong message of what the company is...

I think that's his opinion, but he didn't establish the store or make it what was today, he's just the CEO. His opinions don't necessarily reflect the whole Abercrombie brand, and I think there isn't that much clothes out there for thinner women. There are several shops specialised for plus size clothes. I personally won't be boycotting the brand, although I do agree his perception of people is disgusting.

Great my hoody is definitely going to my local charity shop now (: Also I'm pretty ok for money but I choose to shop in charity shops and cheaper outlets because I like to be individual and be ripped off by people like him inflating thier priced by a 1000%. This man is talking out of his ****.

This is unbelievable. People should be able to wear what ever they want. This CEO guy probably wasn't popular in high school anyways.
