It's not infected. I went through this the first time I got it pierced and the first few times I changed the piercing (at a professional place too). Try to avoid getting makeup on it and avoid touching it. Mine took about two months to go down, and about 8 - 12 months to go away completely. My bump was the size of a pebble (bigger than what I've seen others have nline). Keeping it clean is important, but too much spinning and cleaning can end up irritating it more. Just avoid touching it, and if you must, make sure your hands are clean. Honestly, just be patient!

I had several doctors opinions as well. Look up keloid scarring for more piercings and see if that matches what you have. Good luck!

NO don't use bactine! No rubbing alcohol, peroxide, nothing of the sort. They are too drying and irritating. I've had this infamous bump before and was rid of it for good in no time. First of all, make sure you're taking all of your make up off and the piercing is clean. Do salt soaks with pure sea salt. Not table salt. Get a shot glass or something small, put about a teaspoon in with warm water and saturate a cotton ball with the solution. Hold it over your piercing every day for 10 mins. Then get some pure tea tree oil and dab it around the piercing with a qtip. This is a natural cleanser. No need to dilute. This will take some time but its the cheapest and most natural way to go about it. If you really can't get it down, try an overnight aspirin paste. Use 2 uncoated aspirin, mash it up and add a drop of water. You want it pastey and not too watery. Apply it with a qtip and leave it on. It works! Good luck!

I tried all of the methods above and nothing worked it make it seamed to make it worse and then I when't back to the piercer and he told me to do hot water soaks and in 3 days it when't away ;)

You can get bactine in any drugstore. White bottle with a green top. Not for nothing but your piercer should have told you to get it.

Make sure you boil the water first - let it cool a bit before using it but try to do the spam as hot as you can handle.
