I have the same problem and I've been taking biotin, using cuticle oil every night, and opi nail envy. I still get a few small chips now and then but it's really helped!

I work in a restaurant. the powder in the gloves and washing my hands a lot did this to my nails. I just followed the instructions on nail life and they grew so long and stopped breaking. there are like 7 different nail life types. if you can afford it, get them all. you'll have perfect nails. if not just look for the strengthening one.

Moisturize as much ad you can! Massage your cuticles and nail beds with a cuticle oil or lotion at least twice a day, even if you have polish on. Nails need moisture too! It's like clapped lips, they're more likely to split if they don't have chap stick. Nail break and peel because they're dry, so feed them! Use a strengthener concurrently too. I recommend Essie's Grow Faster.
