So. I am in possession of a couple tubes of Ion Color Brilliance Brights in Purple and Lavender. I'm going to do a purple ombre. I'm thinking I'll dye the top the straight purple, mix the purple and lavender for the middle part, and then straight lavender for the bottom. Someone suggested I just bleach each part of my hair to a different shade of blonde, but I'm not sure about that. Thoughts?

Or if you have any other suggestions other than ombre that would incorporate both colors noticeably.

Just a heads up, the lavender supposedly comes out pretty dark and not as light and pastel-like as it looks. I grabbed a tube out of curiosity but I haven't tried it yet, but every review I've read says its not light (so you should dilute it with white conditioner for a pastel shade)

Just do regular ombre and on transition between your natural hair and ombre put purple and put lavender on ends,or you can swich-to do lavender transition and than do purple ends.

Definitely do not bleach your hair in parts, bleach it together and do the different shades just with the purple. I made the mistake of doing bleach trying to get my ends lighter, and now my ends are a nightmare.

Your hair has to be COMPLETELY white before you can get it purple. Youd have to bleach it at least 3 times from black and use a toner, so unless you want your hair to fall out I'd go to a salon. Also, colour doesn't grip onto bleached hair very well so the purple won't last long.

I've gone from black to pink and black to purple and I take reeaalllyy good care od my hair, so I'm pretty sure it'll be fine.
