My skin is really getting me down. I bought garnier's perfect blur, hoping it would cover my oily skin. It done that well, but gave me REALLY dry skin especially when I put foundation on top. And I moisturised before I used it.
My usual cleansing routine is exfoliating about twice a week, and I moisturise almost every day.
No matter what I do I always end up with flakey skin on my t zone when I put foundation on. Even when my skin feels completely soft, as soon as foundation goes on my t zone it goes completely dry. :(

Well have you stopped using the perfect blur?

Stop using that product as soon as possible and moisturizer super well! You're going to have oily skin, but that's natural. You can't just get rid of it. As long as you wash everyday and keep blotting sheets with you to blot away excess sebum (natural oil your body produces), you're all good.

Actually you can get rid of oily skin (unless it's solely hormonal) if you don't use a cleanser and moisturizer with anything that strips your skin of its oils (alcohol and salicylic acid, etc). if you moisturize overnight with a really intense moisturizer or even a face oil, you should start to even out to a normal oil production

I use coconut oil to take off my makeup and moisturize every night. What I mean by you can't get rid of oily skin is that it's always going be that way. You can balance it out by using natural oils instead of products that strip your face of sebum,

But if you stop your face will continue to be oily.
