I would consider not over brushing it- by that I mean as soon as you have the knots out don't keep brushing cause that can cause staticity.

I get staticky when my hair is a little dry. Try putting a few drops of hair serum at the ends.

Carry a dryer sheet with you. Rub it on your hair when it is staticky and it will behave. Plus, the dryer sheet repels mosquitoes.

A dryer sheet works like Emily said. Another thing that's worked for me is spraying my brush lightly with hair spray just before brushing my hair
