Hi! I have very pale and sensitive skin and I tend to get very red around my nose and chin area. It seems like my powder foundations don't cover for more than an hour or so before wearing off. My liquid foundations either make me break out or look cakey or orange. I've tried primers and different application techniques. Please please any suggestions to help me get the flawless face?!?

Illamasqua makes a white foundation that can be mixed with others to lighten them. I haven't used it so I can't say whether or not it will affect your sensitive skin, but might be something to look into.

I use the OCC Skin Tint and it's a vegan product. It says it's a tinted moisturizer, but it gives a medium coverage. I have sensitive skin as well as finding it hard to have foundations match my skin tone. This works perfectly. It's also a natural semi-matte finish. Also, the mehron color corrector wheel doesn't irritate my skin and the green one cancels out redness. The Tarte Smooth Operator powder keeps my foundation in place until I decide to take it off, it's amazing!

I'm also very pale (Paler than MAC nc15). Illamasqua make great pale foundations, and a white to mix. I also have sensitive acne prone skin and it has never broke me out.

Have you tried a cream foundation and have you tried setting spray? I fully recommend Mac Full coverage foundation (found at Mac Pro stores or online). I can vouch for this as I am also very pale and have redness on my cheeks. It covers redness like a charm and makes your skin look beautiful. I believe the lightest shade is NC 15, which is what I use (it's very light).
