Over washing can make your hair produce extra oil. Use a deep conditioner and shampoo with more natural ingredients?

Maybe in the holidays try and avoid washing it everyday, that way no one can see you with greasy hair and your hair will get used to a new regime. Try to wash it every other or every two days.
Try a shampoo that's specific for greasy hair, do use conditioner, BUT only apply it to the mid section and end of your hair, this way your ends are nourished so you reduce split ends and your roots aren't greasy! :)

I have really oily hair too! I did not care about it that much as I was growing up but when I started 7th grade , it was the only thing I worried about. In the summer time I wouldn't wash my hair. I would wash it 2 times a week, but I did wash my body. And my hair got use to it. Now my hair isnt that oily any more. My second day hair would always be a puddle if oil but now theirs hardly oil. I strongly suggest in the summer and when you're at home and not going any where to not wash your hair. Only wash if its an emergency. I notice my hair growing after doing this! Also use dry shampoo! Also, I've heard if you're not going to wash it in the shower, dry shampoo will mop up any excess oil in a jiffy. You can buy some at any drugstore, I bought no drought at Lush and it smells amazing.
