I've had my acrylics on for a few weeks now and they're just looking nasty now and I really want to take them off at home instead of paying at the nail salon to remove them. Any help how to remove them at home??

Soak then in acetone! It takes a while but if you file them at the same time they come of easily :)

If they're that bad then take a cuticle cutter and snip starting from the cuticles. they should come off easily. they do it at the shop too.

Ok just a quick advice. NEVER EVER GET ACRYLIC. There's good stuff about it but next time I recommend you just do gel. It won't mess up your nails.

Gel messed up my nails almost as bad as aryclic did. Soak in pure acetone for 15 minutes and take a cuticle pusher and gently push the aryclic off once it has softened. Keep soaking and pushing the aryclic off until it is all gone it will take a while but it's the best way to do it without causing a ton of damage

Soak your nails in acetone and get an edge of the acrylic nail up with a cuticle cutter then slide a credit card or any sort of plastic card between your real nail and acrylic nail its less painfull then just using the cuticle cutters. lol sounds crazy but it works.
