I have acne that turns VERY dry one is healing, but I don't have a moisturizer that helps. Even if I put A LOT on them my face gets oily (because it is, just not in the acne spots). I'm in college so I don't have money to waste on high-end products but I can save for it is its worth it...I just don't know where to even look for. A moisturizing mask? Thick moisturizer? Thin? I live in a small town so the dermatologist is really no help, and the closest makeup person is a department store one and I've tried all their stuff. I thought about going a few hours away to a Sephora, but the reviews are terrible. I'd really appreciate any ideas or products for this problem. Thank you. :)

Cetaphil has good moisturizers that aren't too pricey and their face wash is pretty good too. :)

There's a moisturizer called Skin Food by Weleda. Its about $7/tube and even a little bit is enough to melt away those dry bits in an instant! I love mine, give it a try :)

Try a natural oil like argan, coconut or maracuja. They're very moisturizing and help heal. I use maracuja myself and I find it speeds up the healing of my breakouts. It shouldn't break you out further because natural oils don't clog pores. It should also help even out your oil production so your skin will be soft and hydrated but not oily. There are some high end oils like Tarte's maracuja oil and Josie Maran's argan oil, but they're the same thing as a small brand. Just look for organic, cold-pressed oil. I believe you can get coconut oil at Whole Foods if you have one near you (I don't but that is what I hear), and Amazon has a ton of brands. I just ordered maracuja oil from a seller on there for about $12 with free shipping. I swear by oils as moisturizers though. Nothing has ever worked for me so well as the maracuja oil has.
