I've had acne since 7th grade and it's just a turmoil. I've tried so many foundations! Inexpensive and slightly expensive foundations are fine, I don't really have a price limit.

Revlon colorstay , Estée Lauder double wear and Maybelline 24 hour wear foundation are all great at covering acne up I would suggest however going to a dermatologist as well to get to the root of the problem it did amazing things for me

There are full coverage foundations designed specifically for people with acne/discolouration. I recommend trying cover fx which you can find in any Shoppers Drug Mart with a beauty boutique, or online. Cover fx was designed by dermatologists so it claims to not only cover imperfections, but to reduce future acne breakouts. Alternatively, you could try Mac full coverage cream foundation - found at Mac Pro stores. When applied with a damp sponge (I use a beauty blender) it covers up my redness wonderfully and leaves a flawless finish. Keep in mind you can apply Mac Full coverage foundation as sheerly or as heavily as you need/prefer.
I hope you find what you are looking for :)

You might need a second opinion then because honestly I had the same problem and literally nothing seemed to work but they put me on doxy cycline and along with some topical creams my skin cleared up within 2 months

Foundation is more of a base. You need a good concealer to properly cover blemishes. Try Hard Candy Glamoflauge :)

Urban decay naked. I have terrible acne as of this year and it's been a life saver. It's so light but it gives such full coverage. I rarely have to wear concealer with it!
