I LOVE THIS. Won't go a day without it. The woman who did my makeup when I got married used it on me and said that medium ash is a universally flattering shade-- that's what I use and it's perfect! I can keep it light, or build it to make it darker.

Melissa I would recommend a darker one for dark brown or black hair. I know there are darker ones available. I have sort of dirty blonde/light brown hair that's currently highlighted. I think medium ash probably just has the widest range of people it can match, but like I said, I think if your hair is dark dark brown/black you should use a darker shade.
