You don't really need to bleach it. get a higher formula thst you mix in with the color. I get mine from sallys.

If you have color in your hair you must bleach it to get lighter, if your hair is virgin hair you can use color to lift it.

I JUST did this! It took about 5 bleachings, then I applied a base color to close the cuticle and give it some life. I did it over the course of 3 weeks. I used feria absolute platinum, than herbal essences color, ash blonde. hair is not damaged much at all, just a little dry so I use coconut oil once a week. Just remember, you will have to bleach it 4-6 times to lift all levels to get to blonde. Good luck!

My hair stylist and I have been working on this actually. in order not to damage my hair were just doing highlights and touching up the roots. everytime were just adding a few more so little by little I'm getting the hair color I like.

I want to go back to my natural hair colour which is light brown fixed with copper. I've dyed my hair to a dark brown. I have about 5cm of regrowth and I want my whole hair to be back to my natural hair colour. I've bleached my hair a few years ago to blonde and it made my hair so damaged. I need help to get my hair lighter.
I don't want to to the highlights thing, not into highlights.
Does anyone know anything about hair remover?

The remover will take out the deposited pigment leaving it usually an orangey color, you would have to still either strip or apply color to it. the best thing to do is get it as close as you can and just keep up with it until all the regrowth is done.
