If you'd want to cut it I'd say shoulder lenght with layers but if you don't want to cut it you can just trim it every few months to keep it healthy and just do a lot of updos.

@kaylin. Omg I know lol!! My hair was to my butt and was healthy but I don't know I decided to tell my sis to trim off my ends, now its below my waist I swore I wanted to cry cuz I've always had it very long lol. But its better to cut them off and maintain new healthy hair and not let it get if any damaged :)

I just cut mine today for those same reasons I live I Florida also and mine was a bit shorter than yours. I cut mine shoulder length. I figured cut it before it starts getting too hot and try to keep it in good health as it grows back out. Your hair is absolutely gorgeous now though!

Brandi am sure you can pull off shoulder length! For some reason I hate myself with short hair, it feels weird and not that pretty lol I've always had short hair and hate it while some people loved it

I thought that I was going to cry! But I took it like a champ! I was just ready for a big change with mine and was tired of dealing with mine. Nothing seemed to help keep it moisturized. :-(. Yeah I definitely wouldn't cut it if you don't like yourself with short hair. Maybe get some different layers in it to help thin it out and do a hair mask once a week to help recondition it.

I used to have long hair like you! Then I decided to cut it also. Once I got home from the salon I completely regreted it. You can do so much more with it when its long! When girls see your long hair they probably get jealous! Long hair is beautiful hair;) keep it. Just put it up in a cute bun when you get hot!

You can use argan oil (edward beale has a really good one) on your ends only right after you jump out of the shower. and funny enough pantene has this 3 minute miracle treatment and I applied that to my ends recently and now there really good... I live in Australia btw so plenty of sun all year round... I avoid the trimming because then my new ends just end up damaged again so might as well look after my damaged ends and only cut off what I see thats truely damaged with a pair of hairdresser sissors myself (vry rarely)...

Also get urself sulfate and paraben free shampoo and conditioner... I use 2 types 1. david babaii volumising and 2. Natralia Nourish for normal hair (it contains keratin really awesome for hair)... I find that this helps hydrate and strengthen my hair whilst not adding weight to it (I have very fine hair thats at my waist)... when I use stuff with Laural Sodium Sulfate (however you spell it) I notice my hair breaks a lot more...

Thanks guys! So, I decided that I might trim it because am just not the type to spend money on products that take forever to see a difference. Perhaps ill just look for a natural home remedy
