The best palette ever in my opinion is the UD vice because you have a mix of bold bright colors and neutrals but I also love my naked palette for everyday use.

If you want neutrals then the Wet N Wild palette in Vanity is amazing. It comes with three matte shadows and 3 beautiful shimmery colors. They don't sell the Vanity palette in stores any more but I'm pretty sure you could find it online.(amazon) and the Physicians Formula Matte palette in Classic Canyon has 4 amazing neutral matte colors. And if you want more bright colors the elf 32 color palettes are awesome. These are all super cheap. I'd say anywhere from 3-10 dollars.

I would say Sleek Make Up (I have 8 of their palettes and they are all suberb - my favourite being Ultra Mattes Vol. 2) and Make Up Academy Palettes, especially The Artiste Collection.
High End I would say theBalm, with their Meet Matt (e), Meet Matt (e) Nudes and Shady Lady Vol.1 and Vol.2 - fantastic quality stuff!

Drugstore: elf palettes are my favorite! I just got the 32-shade in Classic and it has similar colors to the Naked palette. And it's $6. :)
