I bought revlon colorstay in combo/oily skin in liquid form in the lightest shade. I've tried beauty blender, fingers, regular foundation brush, flat kabuki, etc. it always looks cakey on my face! I'm not using to much, I've been experimenting with differant amounts & nothing has helped. 😕

The reason it is so cakey is because it's for full coverage. I have really bad acne scars, but find that it is too much for me as well. I suggest mixing it with a thin foundation. I mix mine with Maybelline Fit Me. Gives the same coverage, but is less heavy. (:

Also make sure your moisturizer is allowed to soak into your skin for 5-10 min before applying makeup I find that makes a huge difference, and when your done lightly press Kleenex or toilet paper to your face where it's most cakey or oily, don't rub just press and it'll absorb the extra product.
