Put down two coats of a bright white polish first and let dry for awhile. I then get every thing set up. I used bottled water in a short glass, polishes (make sure you test them to be sure they spread first), toothpicks, orange sticks, scotch tape, small scissors and crappy pair of tweezers and q-tips (lots of them) tape your fingers on one hand to minimize cleanup. Place your drops into the water alternating all of the colors you want and creating a target. Use the toothpick to create the design (watch a few YouTube videos for this, too hard to explain) line up your nail with the part of the design and dip into the water starting parallel to the water and straighten as you go in. Hold nail in the water, blow on the rest of the polish and use a q-tip to gather it up. Pull out you finger. Cut the tape and pull off with the tweezers.
