Hi so a while back I had got a perm in my hair and now I have successfully washed it all out although some spots are still a little straight at the ends anyway I had a few questions

1. How do I keep it healthy
2. How can I make it grow longer
3. I still straighten it what's a good heat protectant for cheap

Thank you!!

Don't straighten it to much ghd or dove heat protect it spray. use sa morocan hair oil on your hair and just apply to thr bottom half of head otherwise it will get oily to easily or revitafoam is an amazing product! I use both and swap each time I wash my hair and my hair is in perfect condition! I also wesr it out at night time so it doesn't snap been in a bun :) hope this helps.

Perms grow out?? How can you wash it out? I don't think so...be careful.

Coconut oil. All the way. It keeps your hair healthy, grows it out longer and makes it smooth and shiny. Massage it into damp hair, put a shower cap, leave in for 30 min (15 w/ heat), then rinse out. Hope this helped! :)

Cowash your hair meaning don't use shampoo that has sulfates or any of those harmful substances.

Yes Tee K I got my perm in early 2012 late 2011 basically over time the chemicals do wash out it takes forever so what some people do is called a big chop and basically they cut off all the permed hair or where the perm is still at and then grow it out healthy I just wanted to wash it out because I'm not a fan of haircuts yes the perm chemicals do wash out eventually but it takes a long time.

For repair, use essential oil conditioning treatments like pro naturals moroccan argan oil hair mask once a week and get regular trims to prevent split or damaged ends.
For growth, drink plenty of water daily and eat more proteins, fruit and veg (dark green veggies are the best). Massage your hair every day, wet or dry for about 10 mins and flip your head upside down for 20 seconds so that you can promote circulation in your scalp. Once or twice a week, massage your scalp with almond oil and leave it in for 15-30 minutes before washing it out.
