Hello beautiful ladies, okay this might sound so dumb, but I got to ask, I've heard that coconut oil is really good for your hair... but
how does it look like?
where can I get it?
what are good ways to use it?
also, I've heard doing a hot oil massage in your scalp helps a lot once a week... how do I heat it??

help so lost... >.<

thanks in advance gorgeous ladies!

Costco! Buy the big tub, it's 15$ all organic and the best deal you can find for the amount it gives. I layer my hair and put some in my hand and massage it in the ends where it's most dry and then do the next layer the same way until I finish my hair and then I blowdry my hair to open the hair follicles and let the coconut oil get in and nourish my hair. Or I sleep I sleep in it and wash it in the morning. I also use this as my moisturizer and I have oily skin an it actually makes it less oily! Crazy!

I buy mine from traders joes. It's like 6$ for a medium size jar. It comes as a solid not a liquid. What I do is warm up for about 20/30 sec then massage in too scalp then put it all over my hair. Then I rap my head with a clean grocery bag or a shower cap. Ill let it sit for two hours or a whole night. And like Brittany said its great to use as a moisturizer at night to help with oily face. It will trick the glands in not making more oil. I also use it for a scrub I buy sea salt and add coconut oil and then scrub away.

Brittany I wouldn't recommend using a blow dry. Your actually damaging your hair more. Oil plus heat equally hair burning or damaging.
