Any tips on what I can do or put in my hair while using a curling iron? I have issues with my hair wanting to go straight right away..I want curls that will last all night.

I have the same issue :/ the only thing that has somewhat worked for me is after curling a piece of hair I drop the curl in my hand and roll it up again and bobby pin it. I do it with all my hair and once my entire hair is done I let them down. I've noticed my curls last a lot longer.. hope that helps :)

Use a spray starch with a heat protect formula, my fav is spray starch by redken, and them follow with viridiana's advice... heat breaks down a certain bond in your hairs structure and by slowing them to cool pinned up, the bond repairs itself in the form it's pinned in :)
