You could try to get organiser tray/trolley's from places like IKEA. I have a couple and find that they are super helpful when I'm cleaning my room & also everything is stored away nice and neatly.

I recommend you start with trash then throw it all away. Then go through your stuff and see what you want to keep and what you want to get rid of, then send it to Goodwill and save the receipt for tax credit. for random stuff I got plastic shoe boxes, the clear ones, I got five of them for five bucks, organize or at least sort your things in these. For larger things like clothes fold or hang them, if you fold them like me, I got a large three drawer organizer and put my jeans in there you can get one for fifteen to twenty bucks.
