I want to get my nails done. What are the gel nails? Does it damage your real nails? Someone told me gel just makes your nails thicker to look fake, is it true?

Gel nails can make your nails look longer, and they don't damage your nails as much as acrylic. Most designs are a French manicure. Never pull your gel nails off, because you could pull off your natural nail. They last around two weeks, and cost around $60. You can get a refill, which is when they put gel in the gap between your cuticle and the old gel because your nails have grown longer. Hope this helped, sorry for making it so long :/ and no, some gel looks quite real.

Gel nail does not cost $60 I paid $20 and I have had it for 3 weeks. It doesn't look fake it's your nail. And they will grow faster

I don't recommend getting gel nails- unless you want to grow your nails out. I had mine done 3 times and my nails became yellow and weak, but they grew which was awsome. Also, gel doesn't make your nail longer it just goes over your natural nail like thick polish. And don't do acrylic!!

I love gel nails!! Damnn girl 60dollars?. I get mine done for 20. Gel nail is basically a very thick polish but I love the finish.
