French braid your hair before you go to bed and sleep on it! That's what I do!

Yesterday some one posted a topic on doing waves with magazine papers...and doesn't require heat...you could also do a sock bun over night and take it off in the morning...search for the magazine one.

When you get off of the shower braid your hair and go to sleep! The next morning your hair will be curly!
But if you don't want to go to sleep with your hair wet use a hairdryer to dry it a little bit (although that's usin heat) :)

To get nice waves I would take hair that is almost completely dry and make little pin curls all over your head using bobby pins. The tighter the curl, the tighter the wave. They don't really make hair curly (at least my hair didn't curl). I like this method better than braids because when you braid there's always a crimp in the ends from the hair tie and the ends stay straight, which doesn't look natural.

Alecxa, I think you can look up "pin curls" to find a video on that method.

I usually braid my hair in 3 sections: left right and back. It works for me with and without damp hair! And it doesn't bother me when I sleep! :)

If you rope braid damp hair you won't have tell tale braided kinks and it looks so pretty when your hairs dry!
