I do it during the summer. I love it I always take a spray bottle and I actually buy lemons rather than get a bottle and squeeze out the juices then spray it on. also what helps is when you come out of the shower and when your hair is damp mix lemon juice and a bit of conditioner together and spread evenly on hair (not to much) it works as a leave in.

Yes I did it last year and will be doing it again this summer :) I don't think there were any drastic results but I only did it twice and it takes six turns.
