I have pretty bad dark circles under my eyes. I get 7-8 hrs a sleep per night, and they aren't puffy. It looks like I have two black eyes! My makeup hardly conceals them. Why won't they go away? How can I make them go away?

I have them too, nothing covers mine. It's hereditary I think, I've found that using roller ball products (Like the garnier one) with caffeine help mine a fair amount though.

They are probably hereditary, like she says. I have them too. Try using a color corrector and a light reflecting concealer, keeping them both only on the dark shadows (like coloring inside the lines) then powder. If there's still a noticeable shadow add some more concealer and re powder :)

Get a peach colored concealer. Peach/red tones will cancel out the blue tone. You can find peach colored concealer in concealer pallets or sephora sells a concealer with a thing that you twist and it comes out and you just brush it on :) just ask a beauty consultant. Maybe try Ulta too?

Make up forever makes a good concealer that is meant for under eye use I believe. Try drinking more water maybe too. I find my dark circles lighten a bit if I stay more hydrated. Hope this helps! =]

Mine are hereditary too :(

They could be hereditary. I've had mine for as long as I can remember. It's about accepting them and not letting it keep you from experimenting with new makeup techniques and products to conceal them. Have you tried peach concealer?

Try BareMineral's Stroke of Light Eye Brightner. It works wonders and completely brightens up your wholeface. It also works as a concealer. Please follow me! :)
