I've had a really bad case of split ends since like forever and I've tried a lot of products but they don't seem to go away!! any suggestions?

Split ends must be trimmed. There is no repair so they need to go before they split further up the strands. Regular microtrims, a weekly deep conditioning and a lite leave in spray such as "It's a 10 with Keratin" work wonders for keeping them at bay. Also..don't tug or yank your hair with a comb when it's wet. Redken Anti Snap is fab as well.

Psst...almost forgot. Use a heat protectant such as Biosilk (example) and invest in quality styling tools.

Split end remedies temporarily bond frays together for a smoother appearance. It's essentially a bandaid on a bullet hole. No disrespect intended. I feel claims by products to remove split ends are misleading. Often they say repair, but technically duct tape on my sideview mirror could be seen as a repair.
;p

I invested in a really good comb and blow dryer and I micro trim every six weeks...like clockwork. Perhaps you are waiting too long between trims?

Rozberry is right split ends don't go away on their own but I find that hair masks do wonders they make your hair much easier to brush through and the split ends arent as visible, I personally love them n replaced my conditioner with a hair mask.

Regular trims and argan oil are the holy grail for getting rid and preventing split ends. I use the pro naturals brand of argan oil (its not oily or heavy) and I just use some on my ends after a shower. Helps a TON.
