I wanted to buy my surgeon a gift for helping me.

Option one: 6 premium cinema tickets for him and every member of his staff receptionists etc. plus a bouquet of chocolate flowers for the staff

OR

Option two: a gift certificate for a couples massage at a really nice day spa plus a bouquet of chocolate flowers for the staff. I think he's single though? But I thought who cares he can just take any girl he's a handsome surgeon it shouldn't be too hard for him

my only concern with the first option though is it might be hard all being free on the same date. Or maybe they cbf being around each other outside of work (it seems like they get on though). Plus the extra expenses of food drink etc (not that he doesn't have the money though).

Is buying a couples massage creepy though?

Any other ideas I'm willing to spend about $250

Just because he did a fantastic job and looked after me, he really genuinely cares

I agree with Erica, bc if you like him then you shouldn't offer those kinds of gifts. Maybe something different like a giftcard. But if you are NOT interested in him(which I think that's the case), then I would say the 2nd option. (:
just bc he must work hard, and a massage would be relaxing.

Lol Erica no I have a bf as you can see in my profile pics, I just appreciate good service that's all and believe it should be recognized/rewarded. Why would cinema tickets for him and his staff give off the wrong impression? I thought the couples massage was more along the creepy side as it could be interpreted as me hinting something which is not the case. Btw the massage is just as expensive as all those cinema tickets it's the best day spa in Sydney

When I say 6 tickets I meant one for him and 5 others to be used on the staff.

Why not get him a gc for a nice restaurant? movie tickets might be weird if the staff don't hangout outside of work, and not all men like day spas. I work at one and sometimes men come in because they got it as a gift and they're always awkward and uncomfortable which is opposite the reason you're sending them there. I wouldn't assume he's into that, it's kind of a personal gift.

I love both options. I used to work at a doctors office and the doctor always got gifts. But he would take his staff to gget massages done and he would get a massage too. So I would go for that:)

I think #1 if you do the second one he might think you want him to take you for the massage

Get him 2 tickets one for him and one of his friends, and a gift basket of goodies for the staff...I work for a surgeon, and clients as well as patients bring those it feels appreciated...also since you are not sure of whether they get along..
